No regrets about any of our meals at this hotel. The wait staff is knowledgeable and attentive. Excellent steaks, sides, cocktails and desserts. Another night, we had dinner at Cellaio, which I can honestly say was one of the best meals we have ever had. We had dinner one night at Lotus, the elevated Asian restaurant and our meals were fantastic. David, our bellman was wonderful on arrival and so was the gentlemen who brought our bags down I am sorry I did not catch his name. They do have what looks like a fun bar area and there are lots of game tables for kids, etc. We walked over to the Alder (adjoining property) which was honestly, underwhelming. The rooms were quiet at night and we slept well. Really enjoyed the separate vanity area with makeup mirror. The rooms were spacious, clean and updated. We spent three nights here in the high-rise hotel as part of a birthday celebration with my husband and family. Unless you live in the area, I would not recommend a long drive to go there.… A positive was that the employees of the casinos were very helpful. As for the casino, we found the machines were expensive and we had to search for machines which we understood and in our price range. After the show, we went to the food court and the choices were limited. The show was very enjoyable and performers were good.

We saw the show The Concert That Never Was, with a Frank Sinatra and Barbra Streisand impersonators. You had to try to find a place to sit, as there were too many people and not enough seats. The choices were limited and no coffee or tea was included. We were disappointed with the buffet that was included with our package. The bus area was very efficient and out in the open. Some positives are that the casino is very clean and there are many rest rooms throughout the resort. There are no opportunities to walk around like Atlantic City. All there is to do there is the casino and if you have tickets, a show. There are places closer to my home that offer more than this casino. Even though we had a fun time I would not be in a hurry to return to Resorts World Catskills. Since we had never gone, we decided to take advantage of the trip. Our senior group recently sponsored a trip to Resorts World Catskills.
